This is one of several duplicate threads, including the recent Auto Movie Collections thread. The functionality is already there in collections, which will auto populate if turned on based on information from TMDB. If you want a mix of collections and single movies, that is not there currently.
But you should know that other threads exist since you linked to your own old thread.
