A bit ago I learned about the naming conventions that allowed you specifically to have your own transcodes of different qualities of movies to be under the same name without splitting them. But, at least at the time, I wasn’t aware of any way to download or stream a specific version. Just now, however, I learned that if you press the 3 dots next to a title, and there are multiple versions, you are able to click “play version.” I’m not sure if this is new or if I missed it when I was previously learning about the naming conventions, but I’d say that if I did miss it, the reason would be due to it not being found in the settings as I was playing a title. Such as, there was only “Original Quality” and the rest were transcoding options even if there was more than one version.
So here’s my suggestion. Being able to select the version while playing a movie instead of only through the 3 dots next to a movie.
I know about the 3 dots now, so I’m perfectly content knowing that I can choose now, but just thinking about how other people will likely miss that in the future makes me think that at least for ease of access for new users or for other users who don’t already know this was available.
