Ha, wow: Plex Forum on Opera Browser -- Cannot post new topic

Hi!
New to the Forum, relatively new to Plex

Running a Synology DS220+ with two 10TB WDs inside.

Just found out that my 20-30min of mild frustration trying to post a new topic had nothing to do with Discourse or this Plex Forum, but instead my web browser!

I use Opera almost exclusively, but sometimes it flubs it. The “New Topic +” button? Absent in Opera.

Just a little surprised but happy now that I figured that out, I’m off to generate another post about why my videos when played back are rotated 90 deg CCW…

Dang! Now (after that post) the “New Topic +” button is gone in my Chrome browser too!!??!!

OK, I know this is waay off base, but , uh, help? Thanks!!

You have to be in a category or topic to see the New Topic button. It is not available at the top level of the forum or when viewing a thread.

Example:
Forum home page - no button
Plex Media Server - button exists
Desktops & Laptops - button exists
Reading individual thread - no button
