I have a large collection and I have a couple of suggestions for small screen devices
Relatively simple changes…
- Allow me an option to instead of displaying the date of the album, to wrap the album name around to the second line
- Alternatively allow me to pick the tag to show
- I think an option to even give a third line for each album would be welcome as well so a long album title can wrap
More extensive layout change
The other area of space that I being wasted is where the play button is. How about putting that on top of the album cover? Then more things can be shown in that space
And if we could pick what tags are shown there that would be great
Also I think you could get away with a toggled switch for showing a box before the album tracks again linking to a tag that allows some info or anything else to be shown there with information about the specific album.
Just giving us the ability to allow more tags and information to be shown allow us with multiple different releases of an album, multiple different formats, renditions and mixes to be able to present those kinds of things as we wish.
