For movies with hardcoded subtitles, I think it would be a useful cosmetic feature to enable a dummy/stub subtitle file type to make a movie’s info page show hard subs present in the subtitles field (ideally disabled or unselectable)
For example, a [zero-length] dummy file could be created, the contents of which would be ignored except for its existence:
King Kong vs. Godzilla (1962).mkv
King Kong vs. Godzilla (1962).en.hardcoded.sub
Or something similar. Based on existing subtitles handling, I imagine it would be pretty trivial to implement.
