Hope I am in the right place for this querie. I have just recently signed up with a flex pass and am having trouble figuring out exactly how to get the whole DVR and live tv set up thing working. I reside in Waterloo Region and cannot find any computer places that have knowledge of or carries any of the recommended products to set up the DVR on my PC. OTA channels will not be an available option where we are located as we are surrounded by large trees. I have set up Qbittorrent along with showRSS but it is still a process to keep up with ( could use some advise on that as well). My end game is to be able to have the new episodes of he tv shows we like to watch automatically get uploaded and added to the Plex library. Any help is much appreciated. Thx
Oh sorry forgot to add I have the google chromecast and my PC is basically the server.
Okay, your post is a tad all over the place.
OTA channels will not be an available option where we are located as we are surrounded by large trees.
If you can’t do OTA and you don’t have access to unencrypted cable channels, then Live TV / DVR is not for you.

Just for completeness, if you were to go this route, most people purchase online the required tuner and/or antenna either directly from the vendor/company, from one of their re-sellers or through Amazon.

Pirating content is entirely off-topic for any of the Plex forums (as far as I know); I’m guessing there are forums for using Qbittorrent and/or showRSS that would be able to help you. See:
