Is it possible to do hardware transcoding of 1080p HEVC on raspberry pi 4?

Second this. I would really like to know if it will work with PleX. I know that Emby is looking into support already.
#1: rpi4 has just a x265 decoder, no encoder
#2: if a cpu supports x265 encoding, you need a plex pass
Plex Media Server does not support encoding to h265 (in hardware or software), just h265 decoding on compatible graphics devices. It only encodes to h264. It’s discussed here in a feature suggestion.
