Hope this is the right place to post this new tool I’ve been working on. Helps you transcode your entire library for direct play with the most compatible formats. I added a ton of features to help make the correct decision and remove guess work and the need for additional applications. You should be able to do everything within the app. You can replace original with transcoded files, and if you do not have much space on a local machine it’ll process one file at a time and slowly transcode. There are plenty of options, if you have any suggestions let me know.
Not sure here, but I sadly suspect you are in violation with both ffmpeg and handbrake license, since you are not mentioning them which I think is needed
Thank you, Ill get that fixed.
Fixed
And without been a lawyer, I do think you are fine now
Thanks for looking out, I asked the ai overlords for advice and they agree.
Wait have you tried it? Opinion? ![]()
Not yet, sorry
The comparison view is something i wish the official handbrake app would have added. It’s impossible for me to know if the quality is good without just rendering the whole thing and comparing it later. Yes i know you can render a 10 sec clip but i want the comparison too.
If you added AV1 support I might use it. Cause most of the time I only encode if I really don’t how compressed it gets or if it’s a 4K HDR Bluray then i might use H.265
Tried it, and frankly very confused about it, but did create issue #2 on your Github project
Edit: And create a few other issues, sorry
