I have 2 HDhomerun PRIME boxes hooked up and running to my plex server and they work fine. My question is how do you turn on subtitles for live content? I know the devices support subtitles, if you use the hdhomerun app from manufacturer sub support works.
I am using Plex Pass beta Version 1.9.7.4460.

There are a few different types of subtitles/closed captioning that’s used world wide for Live TV. At present some types are supported on some devices.
Plex is currently working on this and you can expect to see this in the future in one of the upgrades.

Great, thanks Carlos. My wife is hearing impaired so this is a critical issue for my family.
Growing up my Grandmother was completely deaf. She lost her hearing giving birth to my mother.
So I totally get this type of situation and try and always test and file tickets on things like this.
With that said it’s not easy to do since there are many different formats in use throughout the world and Plex pretty much needs to try and support them all.
