HDHomeRun V2 Plug-in

It's actually a Very Good Thing that development for this is not initially done on the Prime. That has DLNA support unavailable on the European, British, Australian or Canadian versions. Something done on the non-Prime US unit is likely to work all all current HDHR devices, something developed on the Prime might not be backwards-compatible.

In any case, I look forward to helping test this.

PMS 0.9.8.5 on Ubuntu Linux

Clients:

  • Windows 7
  • Plex/Web on Linux
  • Android-for-PlexPass
  • RasPlex

I'm also looking forward to test if HDHR streams can be shared with my myPlex friends.

I think you should start a new thread as the title on this one is misleading, it's for the older v2 no longer in dev.

Have a name for your plugin?

How about PlexDust HDHomerun?

It's your baby, so name it as you see fit.

Thanks,

I agree with this - how about just "PlexTV" ?

OK, I started a new thread with details on the new system. It's currently called HDSurfer but just like the system the name is also ALPHA and subject to change.  :)

This works great on my Roku 3 and Android phone however it seems to be crashing my Roku stick. I don’t see anything in the plex logs that would indicate why. Any tips on how to debug this? When it crashes it happens about 3 seconds after the stream starts and then the Roku either reboots or locks up and I have to pull the power to reboot it.

Thanks for a cool piece of software!
