No PGS/VOBSUB subtitles. No subtitles of any kind if audio is transcoding, so avoid TrueHD & dts audio formats.

Are the movies not showing up in the Plex app or are they listed, but you cannot play them on the LG TV? If the latter… With the Plex app on LG TVs, enabling PGS subtitles forces a video transcode. If your Plex server is not powerful enough to transcode 4K HDR video, then playback will buffer continuously or possibly fail altogether.
