HDR >> SDR tonemapping does not work on iPad?!

Hi everyone,

I have updated both Plex server and Plex player on iPad to the newest version. However, the tonemapping still does not work properly. The HDR content looks washed out on the iPad but it looks great on the iPhone 8 Plus.

I am not sure what is wrong with the setup or Plex’s tonemapping feature just can not work on my iPad (it’s a 7th gen iPad so the screen does not support HDR content).

Does anyone here suffer the same issue? What did you do to make tonemapping work on iPad OS?
