Hi all

I’ve given access to my Plex server to some friends and family, I want to know if there is an add-on that can help me manage these users?

I want to be able to ensure each account can only access 1 stream at a time and also put a time limit on some so they can have access for a set amount of time like 1 day or 1 month before I have OK them using the service again/longer.

I want to do this as I gave my nephew access and his mates “nicked” his log in details and started to use them on there own devices, cheeky buggers, but what do you expect from 12 year old’s lol

Since you can always see the devices, you can delete them from the Devices tab.

In the instance of sharing with your nephew,

a) unshare him from your server.
b) have him change his password and ‘disconnect all devices’.
c) Share with your nephew again

d) remind him never to let the credentials be saved in the browser :slight_smile:

Lastly, to control how many streams you wish to allow (1 should suffice)… go to Settings - Server - Network and set Remote streams per user to 1.
