I attempted to change the location of my music files (they were in G>Music and I moved them to O>Music…no change to the content in the folders, just a simple relocation of the folder).
I then went into my Music settings in Plex and updated where the music library folder was located. That’s when I started having issues…it couldn’t play any files, even after I re-scanned the library.
So I moved the music folder back to its original location (G>Music) and re-updated the folder location in Plex. Now, in my general music library all the song names and info are grayed out, but they still seem to play fine. However, my playlists are totally broken. They show no songs in them (but the playlist icons still show the album covers and total times of the playlist…which makes no sense to me).
I’ve restarted my computer and Plex after each attempt at fixing this, thinking that would help…but no luck.
Does anybody know what I did wrong and if there’s any possible way to fix it? I’d really like to save my playlists if possible.
