i really doubt it, because that would lead to even more user sharing/selling.
but hey it aint up to me.

Is that just what the list of authorized devices should do, as I understand it.
But no, it does not work.
No. I mean, are you sharing your server with other people. If so, did you do this sharing as Home Users.

Another way to look is did you create managed users.

Or another way is when you click on your user, do you have the option to âSwitch Usersâ.

If any of these are true than you are using Plex Home. When you authorized the device, it shows up under your account. If you switch users then that other user also becomes authorized to use that device. You removing the device from your list does not remove the authorization for these other users. So it is still possible to use that device as these other users even if youâve removed it from your account. You need to switch users to these other accounts and check if the device is listed under their account. You need to remove it from all users to make sure it doesnât come back.
Or you can delete these users, which will remove all authorized devices from their accounts.
Iâm not on the dev team so I canât say for sure, but I doubt Plex would add this. Sharing is meant for an account, not specific devices. Sharing is also meant for friends and family. If you canât ask your friend to not use Plex from other devices, or your friends refuses to listen, thatâs between you and them. Plex has already added the ability to limit the number of streams, so it shouldnât matter what device they are using. You can already limit their access.
I have deleted the home group, and I have created it again and this time I will not use the guest.
Thank you
