Why do Samsung tv’s not show on Authorised devices?
Currently there is no Samsung TV signed into your plex account.

If you are using managed users, the Samsung in question might currently be used by one of your Home users.
‘Switch User’ and go into your main account.
Then look again at ‘authorized devices’.

I also have a friend with the same issue on his account, he asked me how to remove a Samsung TV from oratorized devices. that’s how I found out there was an issue.
What kind of Samsung is it? What is the version number of the Plex App on the Samsung?
If this is the old Orca app, you might have intentionally not signed the app into your plex account (and created an exception for it under Settings - Server - Network - ‘Show Advanced’ - “List of IP addresses and networks that are allowed without auth”)
due to some issues which appeared in the past with this app.
If it’s not signed into your account, it won’t appear under ‘Authorized devices’
Yes, this is definitely the old Orca app.
If you are on the home page of that app, press Left
and go into the Preferences - System
try toggling ‘Use secure Connections’
and re-try ‘Sign into your Plex Account’
That’s ok for me as I have access to the tv still, the tv is only a year old so I’m surprised.
My friend cannot access the tv as he has sold it? he has removed all devices and changed password, still someone is accessing his account? any advice for him?
Did he change his acount password already?
As a last resort he might have to chenge hsi password and de-authoríze all devices during the course:
I beleave he as done this but I’m not sure ill discuss it with him tonight.
