Server Version#: plexinc/pms-docker plexpass
So I’m running a Plex Server on a local Ubuntu server. Always worked fine, but experienced some issues after moving places and setting up a new network. In my ‘troubleshooting’ I removed the Plex claim and now can’t reclaim. I’ve been working on this for a day now, without luck.
What I tried:
Whenever I log in, local.host, 192.xxx:32400/web, or plex.tv I always end up at the web version of plex, without any option of claiming or connecting to the server. This was never any issue before.
Steps taken:
- image prune
- Remove Preferences.xml (it doesn’t seem to populate)
- container stop + start + rebuild
- new plex claim via https://account.plex.tv/en/claim
- hard coding the claim in the Traefik doc, instead of using plex secrets.
- trying some of the suggested automation tools
