Help! We just switched ISPs and got a new modem, Plex is not accessable outside of our network

We just switched to a new ISP and got a new modem. For some reason the Plex server is not accessible outside of our network. Could this be a Double-NAT scenario and should I enable bridge mode on the new modem? Note that I don’t really know what I’m doing here. I’ve tried manually port forwarding. The problem occured once the new modem / router thing the ISP provided got installed, no changes to the router were made. Note that I am still using the router I used before, along with the modem / router the ISP provided.

BTW, Plex is actually accessible outside the network, but the connection is indirect and every stream transcodes to SD quality.

Port forwarding in the new modem/router needs to be setup.

Look at your existing PMS configuration.
If you were setting it manually, you need to update the new modem/router to the same.

If set automatic, you need to allow Plex through.

(This varies per router make & model)

If you have a standalone router, definitely put their provided modem in bridge mode. You don’t want double NAT, and then your existing router should still have the proper port forwarding set up.
