Help with correct RTMPVideoUrl parameters

Hi,

 

Just tried updating the twitch.tv plugin so it would use the actual rtmp stream as current plugin didn't work for me.

 

I checked out the XBMC twitch.tv plugin and used that code for retreiving the correct rtmp stream.

 

However the end result is an url like:

which is just passed to XBMC .. i tried passing this same url to an WebVideoItem but got nothing as an result..

I also tried using:

but was still unable to get the stream functioning, but that wouldnt have passed the swfVfy=1 live=1 Pageurl=http://www.justin.tv/impbeast

 parameters so that wasnt surprising :/
 
 
Any suggestions on how to pass the correct parameters?

Can you paste that into a code block?  (using the code tags here), it got truncated, specifically the swf_url part.  It _looks_ like you might need to split up the bits in swf_url ... they look like it also contains the client version info, but it's hard to say because the forum turned it into a link and truncated everything.

Also is it a live rtmp stream?  If so then the only Plex client(s) that can play it are the desktop clients (windows, OSX).  PMS doesn't support live rtmp streams for transcoding at this point.  There are lots of discussions on this in this forum so if you want more info check them out.

And WebVideoItem is a totally different thing so not a surprise it didn't work with that url.
