how do I use the RTMPVideoItem?
If I have this URL:
rtmp://cp108781.edgefcs.net/ondemand/flv_free/vipo/berlin-tag-nacht/PR9133_01SU2HD836T11S2G_10000000_10292916.f4v
how do I setup the RTMPVideoItem?
I always get some errors like “connection failed : [clip] …” - what is this clip-thing?

OK, I’m kind of new to this myself, but as I understand it, with an rtmp: url, you have a streamer application, and the actual clip you are playing. The first part of the URL is the app, and the second part is the clip. Now, I got lucky with the app I’m working on, and the page actually supplies them separately, but you don’t seem so lucky. By looking at the URL, I would guess your parameters would look something like this:
RTMPVideoItem(url='rtmp://cp108781.edgefcs.net/ondemand', clip='flv_free/vipo/berlin-tag-nacht/PR9133_01SU2HD836T11S2G_10000000_10292916')
Add your title, summary, and thumb as appropriate, of course. Make sure to leave the file extension off the clip.
If those don't work for you, try dividing up the URL at different points.

Can the clip extension .f4v be the problem?

Possibly, I don't know enough about the Plex player to say. I'd assume .f4v is a variant of .flv...
