HEVC video Stutter

Server Version#:1.18.9.2578-513b381af
Player Version#:6.10

When playing certain HEVC streams with AAC 5.1, the video is very stuttery and jerky. If I enable experimental player, this does not happen. Also, if I transcode to x264, it also works fine. What could be the issue? I have tried playing the video on VLC, and it works without issue. Also, according to playback info, the video is playing at twice the bit rate it actually is, and therefore it appears the player is double playing every frame?

Having the same issue. Any idea when the feature will be released? Thank you

Currently scheduled for next week but things could change.

Stutter still happend on iPad and AppleTv4k with Plexplayer. iOS player works fine. The files are encoded with Nvidia hardware nvencc64, quality VBR. Infuse works fine. Please fix.

Hint: I enable under Help ā€žshow informationā€œ and there I can see that dropped frames is increasing (5-10 pictures every second)

The files you’re dealing with are - BROKEN.

If waiting for Plex to maybe come up with a solution isn’t something you want to do - you can fix them:

The bad news:
They require fixing at this time.
The good news:
I’ve only got 506 left to fix…

why there are broken ?
This is the commandline:

NVEncC64. exe --avhw --vbrhq 10000 --codec h265 --preset quality --output-depth 10 --master-display ā€œG(13250,34500)B(7500,3000)R(34000,16000)WP(15635,16450)L(40000000,50)ā€ --colormatrix bt2020nc --colorprim bt2020 --transfer smpte2084 --max-cll ā€œ3241,902ā€ --aud --crop 0,280,0,280

Plays fine on Shield, FireTV4k an LG TV.

Problems on Ipad pro and AppleTV 4k with new player.
Old player plays fine.

That doesn’t look like one of the files I’m talking about, but…
If you run those ā€˜original troublemakers described in that thread’ through V45 of MKVToolNix - it fixes 'em.

Looks like the issue you have isn’t with the file.

I’ve got 477 to go…
