It would be nice if the “admin” could hide items so they are not visible to Plex friends. Sometimes we have documentaries and other files with ideological or political content that I would like to keep private and not share with others. I know I can create more libraries for this, but creating new libraries for three or four files seems unnecessary to me.
The suggestion would be to be able to mark as private the files that only the Plex server administrator wants to see.
Add a label to the item, then restrict the person from seeing such items.
To add a label: Edit the item (pencil icon).
To restrict: Restrictions tab when configuring sharing with that person.

Labels are your friend! I have the same issue, so I just created a Label called “offensive” for those items. Then on the Shared user I add that Label to that User. Works like a charm.
Just Edit the Movie (or Show) and add your Label (name it anything you want)
Edit the User> Restrictions (add your Label from any Category)
Done!
