Hide items inside smart collection

I want to be able to hide item that are inside a smart collection as currently this feature is either broken or not available. Currently when you click edit and default the collection to “hide items in this collection” it doesn’t work, this is a much needed feature as it’s difficult to curate collections and keep track of everything when you have a large library.

Note that this feature doesn’t work even if both the library and collection is default to " hide items in this collection".

This is something that everyone on plex needs and would be used by everyone if it was made available.

they cannot due to their nature of potentially dynamically changing all the time based on filter

Why is the option there then? Is it something you’re going to implement? It would be really useful for the big collections we make such as MCU Or Disney etc
