Seems to presently be no ability to filter out already played/watched podcast episodes without making smart playlists for these podcasts and using those filters.
With thousands of episodes per show, this can be a real bear to get to the content I have yet to hear.
Am I missing a ‘show unplayed only’ button somewhere, or is a smart playlist all i can do?
Up until recently I had a “filter by unplayed” option that I used for this purpose. I had to uninstall and reinstall the app due to what I believe was a data issue with shows marked as played/unplayed (badge would show -2, then trying to filter would make podcasts unavailable altogether). After reinstalling I no longer have this option, but I definitely miss it.
