HifiBerry Dac+ Pro compatibility

Just wondering if anybody knows if the newer Hifiberry DAC+ Pro is fully compatible with the latest release of RasPlex? This new board has dual on-board clocks for jitter reduction – and apparently requires new drivers for this clock generator to function.

I’m considering an upgrade and although the existing drivers will work with the DAC+ Pro – the new clock generator will not.

Which drivers, I’ve looked on their website and couldn’t find any reference apart from using the existing dtoverlay.

So, I’m guessing, it will come down to whether or not the new RasPlex is using Kernel 4.1.10 or later?

Did you read the release notes for 1.0.2?

“Updated Linux kernel to 4.1.16 and latest RPi firmware”
