Rasplex works with my Pi3 in both HDMI and Analog out sound. Is I put the hifiberry DAC + PRO on the Pi3 I get the opening Splash screen and Rasplex Ver 1.7.1.137 display, the green light on the DAC card comes on and the screen just goes black. I take the DAC card off and everything works again. This is a new DAC card received from hiberry just yesterday.
Any thoughts

Check this out, hifiberry NEVER even heard of using the DAC+ with Rasplex. WHAT!!!. No wonder it doesn’t work Any idea of a DAC that works?

Hi,
all + boards fully supports the Raspberry Pi 3. However, I don’t know anybody using Rasplex. Therefore I guess there is a bug or configuration problem in Rasplex. If you can login, check the output of “aplay -l”. What is shown there?

Using RPi3 with Digi+ Pro here and, every time I switch to the Hifiberry sound output device in Rasplex 1.7.1, the RPi locks up. Aplay -l in my case gives:
