High CPU use.

The last couple of days, the CPU of the Raspberry PI is on constant >80 <100%.

It's as if it's still creating a cache. (Even though it's been on >80 <100% for about four day's now)

Besides this, it's also still filling the /storage space. It's at 120.3M now

Any idea's?

Yep i've seen the same issue, however after a long period of time (a day or two) it seems to settle down to about 30% usage and at this point, the GUI is very responsive and fanouts load almost instantly.

Allright, I don't have a very large stockpile of video's / series. Way too expensive ;-)

Do you? Could it be the reason?

It's now a week later, and the CPU continues to be t 90% levels.

The Storage is not growing anymore, so I'm no longer thinking it's the cache.

Rasplex itself has been slowing down even. Going through the menu's is slower then in the beginning.

Should I try to reflash it? (It has been upgraded to 1.32 through the auto updater) or should I first post some of the logs? (Please tell me which ones in that case)

What about overclocking it? Found here.

hi,

i had a similar problem (under 2.22). after playing a film (where the rpi was high for several hours), the rpi got 'stuck' at 100% (and 90%+ for a plexhometheater process). i let it go for a few hours with no change. a reboot solved the problem.

any ideas ?
