Holy grail - How to stream UHD+Dolby Vision+Atmos lossless to Sony TV+Marantz AVR?

I’m basically trying to find the magic recipe to make this all work. I have the following Plex clients to choose from:
Android TV client build into Sony A90J
or AppleTV 4k (2021 model) or Win10 home theatre PC
Audio would through Marantz 6014 receiver (w/eARC)

Running Plex server on a separate Win Server 2019 system with xeon CPUs. I can throw an old Nvidia 1080 card or quadro in there if needed.

What format do the source files need to be in? I do have DvDFab, MakeMKV, etc
There are countless, often contradictory threads on this, many filled with outdated info. Does anyone have the magic recipe?

Thanks!

Nvidia Shield 2019 Pro ← HDMI → Marantz AVR ← HDMI → Sony TV

Note: There are several different Dolby Vision profiles. No one device supports them all, including the Shield. Plex is at the mercy of the device. It if does not support a certain profile, there is not much Plex can do about it.

Read [INFO] Plex, 4k, transcoding, and you - aka the rules of 4k

TV based apps cannot pass lossless audio such as TrueHD, even over HDMI-eARC (no known TV from any manufacturer supports this capability).

Does not support TrueHD + Atmos passthrough (Apple does not permit TrueHD passthrough). Audio will be passed as PCM 7.1 and Atmos information lost.

Plex HTPC does not support HDR (reference).

Would the Nvidia Shield work for this? or Xbox? Or is there ANY device that will?

The 2019 Shield TV Pro can, but UHD DV Profile 7 playback isn’t officially supported and may fall back to HDR10. It’s the closest you’ll get.
