I have a Windows 2012 server running PMS and it is running great. I invited a friend to my server and when I accepted him, instead of him showing up as a “Friend” he is now showing up under “Home user” as the admin and moved me to just a “Home user”. How can I move him under the “Friends” section and put me back to the “Admin” like it was prior?

it looks like he invited you to his ‘home’ (which is a feature of plex pass).
if you mouse over the far right side of your user name, you should be able to ‘leave’ his home.
I believe this should drop you to regular ‘shared’ user.
if not, he will need to re-invite you as a shared user (not a home user).
it looks like you also have another invite pending for ‘home’, you can only belong to one ‘home’ at a time.
so be careful when accepting invites.
Thank you so much for your quick responce! Weird though, this is my server and there is no way to delete him or move him. I move my mouse to the end of his name but it does not show anything. See attached picture. My server is “AliasDz” which it shows as the server I am logged onto (If I am reading it correctly).

you cannot delete him, because it is not YOUR home.
he is the admin of HIS home, and you are a home user.
you need to leave his home, then it should not show you under home users with him as admin.
see the X at the far right, you have put your mouse over it for it to appear
Ahhh, Ok, Had trouble wrapping that around my head. So, I did that and now it is back to the way it was! I looked everywhere and there was not a clear discription on how/what to do.

I agree, it is not clear how to leave a home.
here some more info on what HOME is and the differences between types of users.
Tell your friend that he shall use the button ‘Share Libraries’ and not ‘Invite Home User’.
I removed myself from the home after this happened but now I’ve lost my server and it’s shares. I’m freaking out that I’ve lost all my plex data (not multimedia) and I have no idea how to fix this.
This UI is awful to allow this!
