Wondering if there may be any way to import extra tags from music files, specifically for my case the “Comment” field. I do not need to display it, I just need access to the data. I have used Plex for years but never setup my music collection thru it and I have a rather large collection from decades of DJing which I have added many tags in the comment field I use in most software to filter for playlists. I disappointingly find in Plex this data is not imported so I cannot easily make playlists of all the songs I have tagged as my favourites.
While I understand I could use mp3Tag to duplicate this data to another field that Plex does read I wondered if there is maybe some way to do what I am looking for or some hope it could be available in the future?
