Import Mood Tags From Tracks

Please add the ability to import audio track “mood” tags.
Audio tracks in Plex have a mood option, but this does not get imported from the flies, only the Plex agents.
I have a bunch of mood tags that should be added.

Perhaps there are other track tags that can be used to import grouping information into Plex that can then be used to create smart playlists. Any suggestions are welcome.

I would also be interested in this among other things related to moods:

  1. I often tag individual tracks with moods while listening. For awhile the mood tags which Plex had saved and displayed were all my personally created mood tags. Then all the sudden tons of ‘default’ mood tags started being displayed. I really don’t like this and would like to modify my list of moods.

  2. Is there an API I can hook into for reading/updating/modifying a track’s metadata (including mood tags) through Plex? Would also love to be able to create playlists programmatically using this data…

I’d really love to see this too. I used MusicBrainz Picard to fetch moods for individual tracks online, but Plex doesn’t take them into account, which is frustrating. Adding a Mood from local medata options (like how we can do so with genres) would be very welcomed
