I have a bunch of RPIs scattered around my house running rasplex (4 at the moment). I just imaged a new one, with 1.6.2 and set the hostname in “Settings/…” as always. This RPI is known on my network as garage. I can ssh into root@garage, I see the name in settings, etc. When I go to cast from the IOS App, or from the web app and go to the list of devices, it shows up as “RasPlex”. I can control it, etc, but the hostname is not correct.
I then imaged another RPI as Bedroom, with exactly the same results. I then reimaged bedroom with 1.0.3 because it was also on my laptop, and the same results. Updated 1.0.3 to latest, with no change.
I assume that this is not actually a problem with RasPlex/OpenPHT, but rather with PLEX as a whole, somewhere, but I don’t know enough about the ecosystem to figure out where to start with a bug report.
