I am not a developer and respect those who are.
But I do like being able to watch my movie and TV collections (and I have lots of them).
I really like the idea of being able to watch from my own storage system because all too often my internet connection bogs down so I can’t watch via streaming services.
But more over, I have not found, either via a streaming service or through PLEX the one thing I wish were there.
A way to set up my tv shows so that I can watch one episode per show, then move to the next show – something like how a real tv broadcaster would do it. The current “playlist” process is good only for movies but not for setting up the shows to play in order but not in Marathon fashion.
Is there any way for someone to actually enable us to set up an app or PLEX add-on to allow us to set up a viewing schedule of TV Shows where all we have to do is press play and it will show episode of show 1, then an episode of show 2, and so on while keeping the episodes in order (which the mix does not do) so that the shows have continuity from one show to the next.
While we are at it, any possibility to have a secondary app or add-on (I don’t plan on using PLEX on mobile devices) that will allow us to do streaming TV with broadcasters that are streaming without requiring a cable or satellite subscription?
