How do I add a 2nd server

I’ve installed a 2nd PMS on my local network to test a fresh install. Install went fine, but when I access it by its IP address:32400/web/index.html, it appears I’m connected to my original server and media located on old server but not copied to new server is playable. How do I add a 2nd server to my account? I feel like I must be looking at the solution, but not seeing…

Just looked at it, but don’t understand how that helps. Are you saying that I need a TIDAL account to establish 2 Plex servers on the same network?

Open an “incognito” or “private” web browser tab. Then open the URL of the new server.

Incognito didn’t do anything different. Still opens original server.

Try this on the new server.

The new server must be on the local network. If you have it running in a VM or remotely, you must first create a “tunnel” to the (virtual) machine.

None of the mentioned key pairs exist in Preferences.xml. My .xml file is:

Is Plex server running in the local network on the host system or in a VM/Docker?

Did you create the container to use “host networking”?
Otherwise it is not in the local network and cannot be claimed without creating a tunnel into the container.

Thanks, that was it.

Should anyone else encounter this using docker-compose, in the settings for the plex container, I had to add:

    network_mode:  host

and then comment out any port settings.
