Plex seems to take all the photos in the folder and dump them into a single library that can be viewed by Timeline or Albums. The photo library seems to ignore my existing folder structure and no albums are created. How do I create photo albums for each of the subdirectories in the photo library’s folder?
The Photos view in Plex Web or Grid View on iOS would give you a view of the top level folders. Similar views exist in other apps - they may not all have the same name
There was an issue which got fixed in a recent version of Plex Media Server
