How do I identify films which 'scanned wrong'?

I have X number of films on my System.
When I scan with Kodi, the exact path, I get X matches.

When I scan with Plex, I get X, minus 30 matches.
I suspect my filenames are the problem.

I’d like to fix this but I don’t know how? Where’s the log showing "These files, didn’t scan right?)

Do you have collections enabled?
How are you naming your files?

I don’t know what collections means.
Generally filename is moviename (year).ext

Sometimes, for very particular files it’s (IMDB Code like TT231232) .Ext
(etc)

I know how to name my files, I have over 2000, it’s a small handful which are the problem.

I have discovered 19 of my movies will never Scan (Video_TS isn’t supported, so be it)
That still means I have 5 or 6 now, with no idea what’s going on.

How to find the discrepancy between number of files on disk and the number of movies in the Plex movie library

I have been messing around all morning and nuked several duplicated movies as well as extremely obscure things (Korean Anime Shorts, etc…

I can account for 16x “Video_TS.IFO” files.
I’m still looking at 2147 Kodi movies vs 2120 Plex movies. (2136 including the DVDs it’s let me know it refuses to work with…)

So I’m still 11 movies off now.
No idea who / what they are.

The findmedia tool /seems/ to be entirely happy with my library, except those 16 DVDs?

This is not fun
