I have comcut & comcut setup on Ubuntu 16.04 server. Comcut removes commercials but it leaves a brief commercial start when the break starts. Does anyone have any recommendations to tweak this?
When I used that I ended up messing with the fine tuning of commskip mainly the logo detection options to get better results.
Have you looked at the comskip settings file? On Windows it is in a comskip.ini not sure if filename would be the same on ubuntu. I would look at the detect_method setting it controls how comskip detects where commercials start and end.
