Hey guys, I looked through the forum and couldn’t find a thread, if there is one, please link it and forgive me. 
Does anyone have some settings for comskip that work pretty well? I get that some things won’t ever work right because of the way it’s filmed or edited, (like live TV shows, etc…), but I’m having things like, the last 6 minutes of Family Guy get cut out. Or the last 10 minutes of Judge Judy, (that was a test, I promise).
By the way, I just got my HDHomerun Connect on Monday and I’m loving it! Best Buy has them on sale for $89!

The biggest thing in my opinion with mcebuddy is ensuring comskip is setup since comskip is what is used to remove commercials. For comskip the biggest setting in my opinion is the detect_method which from other threads I settled on using 107.
What cable provider are you using Johnm? I am using fios and my detect method is 43

Is that the only thing in the comskip.ini that you changed? Does it work with most TV shows and movies pretty well?
Pretty much don’t recall any other changes. Also just replied to other thread you posted on.
