I’m trying to make Plex my complete hub for all media. I’ve paid for a lot of movies with Vudu. I added Vudu as a streaming service, but none of my movies I’ve purchased are showing up there. But, Plex has never had me sign into Vudu, so how could it know what I’ve purchased? I just searched for a movie I bought in Plex under vudu. Everything I look up, it just says “There are no locations currently available for this title.”
You don’t.
Plex only tells you where things are available and you can launch the corresponding app on your system. We don’t have any access accounts on other services nor would we be allowed to play back their content in our app.
Ok, thanks! That’s a pointless feature then. Oh well. Not a deal breaker. I’ve been using Plex for years for offline media. I just started today using it for OTA antenna TV. Was thinking for, when my wife uses it on the actual TV, it would be a nicer setup if everything was in one spot.
