Feature Request...can I use other streaming services with Plex?

Yeah, my question title is not terribly specific, but what I’ve been wishing for is this:

I have movies all over the place. Some of them are in Amazon, some on Ultraviolet, some in the Apple Store, Sony movies, Disney movies, etc etc etc ad nauseum. What I’d love is for Plex to let me tell it which of the streamers have movies I have purchased and give me a screen showing all of them in one place. I guess I wouldn’t need it to actually play them, but at least if I know what I have and where it is, I could go find them. Many of these sites offer me ‘digital copies’ but I’m guessing they’re all full of DRM so Plex could probably not actually play them. But how nice if it could catalog them for me.

The good news is… Maybe someday with all the 3rd-party apps people keep making for Plex.

One way to have them in your library is to create some dummy files with the correct naming. This would allow you to add into the description where to find them or add tags for Amazon, etc. for searching. Obviously you couldn’t play the movie from Plex, but at least you might get triggered while browsing Plex to a movie and know what service it is on.

Not ideal, but like above, integration with other streaming services is unlikely in my opinion (which is wholly unofficial).
