How is this bandwidth graph possible?

G’day All
Probably more a curiousity but I’m noticing bandwidth graph figures reported by PMS that cannot be possible. Natively from the Plex app (and dashboard) … showing a solo 4k direct play as routinely hovering 300 > 600Mbps throughout most of the movie, which is impossible for this device and network it’s on. The connection of the Nvidia shield itself is only capable to around 90mbit owing to its location.

The NIC on the NAS is not showing that sort of traffic either.

This is a more accurate graph (NIC on the PMS NAS itself)

Additionally , for Remote playing the exact same file direct play on the same shield (but from a remote network instead) … the bandwidth graph is accurate (blue line).

Everything is playing just fine btw, just thought it strange?

Disk Reads off the array are what I’d expect

Is the file an mp4 container? If so, it could be missing audio/video interleaving.

Hey Otto sorry I should have clarified, it’s doing this for many different files. No issues at all playing them, just that the graph is showing numbers that are impossible.
