How the Updates are going to be provided?

Hi guys,

When an OpenPHT update is released, will we be able to update within the app or it must be done manually?

Both methods should be supported. That’s how it currently works for RasPlex, which is OpenPHT for the Raspberry Pi. Doing the same for a PC should work fine, though I’m not sure if there could be some complications with Apple over doing it under OSX… (I’m mainly a Win7 user, dabbling only slightly in Linux and just occasionally OSX).

That said, I’m not sure of the extent to which auto-update support is integrated/functional at present, since 1.5.0 is the first ever release of OpenPHT.
