How to add channels? No button

Hi, I just downloaded Plex today for use on my Tivo, so please excuse my newbie-ness. :slight_smile: I’d like to be able to view CW Seed and other channels but I can’t figure out how. The knowledge base says to select “channels” on the home page, but it simply isn’t there. I thought perhaps “plug-ins” would work, but on the plug in page there’s no button for “add-plugins” the way it seems there should be. How in the world do I add content?

Thanks. That explains about the plug-ins, but what about the channels? Is that gone, too? And if so, why in the world would the instructions for adding them be in the knowledge base? And am I to assume from this that I cannot watch CW Seed on my Tivo with Plex? I did a bunch of research first and everything indicated I could…

Plugins = channels
different terms, same thing.

Wow. That’s not misleading at all. If something isn’t possible with this app, then the knowledge base shouldn’t state that it is. I wasted hours with this thing, and now I can’t use it for what they said it would do… :rage:

Which page in the knowledge base?
Maybe one was forgotten to get updated.

Just look up anything to do with channels. It’s not just one page, I spent a lot of time reading…

I’ve just had to remove the Plex Media Server and all related software from my Mac computer as updates were failing to load. I’ve now reinstalled. I’m confused about adding channels/plug ins as I can’t find them. On app.plex.tv I go to Plug Ins under Manage and all I see is ITunes. No list of channels to choose. Please can you let me know what I am doing wrong?

Plugins are being phased out.

The only way to add them now is manually.
