Channels/Plugins Add/Removal in web app has disappeared

For many years I have been using Plex, and currently am running Plex Media Server v1.14.1.5488, which I believe is the latest version. At some point in the past, 2 to 3 years ago (I think), Channels was changed to Plugins in the menu in the left column. It appeared to function as before, just had a new name.

Recently I upgraded to version1.14.1.5488 of Plex Media Server, and now, I can no longer manage the installed Plugins, or, add anything new in the Plex web app. The INSTALL option on the page, and I cannot find any way to browse for new plugins. Can someone help me figure this out?

Thank you for the update Otto. I’m really to see the Plugins go, because they were the one of the main features that I used and relied on. However, if their gone, their gone. I’m sure I’ll learn to live with them. I mostly used them to watch new TV shows that I liked. I’ve cut the cable, and I live up in the Appalachian mountains, and really can’t get any over the air broadcast TV. I have a lifetime Plex Pass, so, I’m not gonna be leaving Plex behind …
