How To Add Songs to Play Oueue On Xbox One

I can’t find the settings to add songs to the Play Queue on the Xbox One player. I don’t have problems doing this on the Plex Media Server app for Windows 10, but I don’t see those same settings on Xbox One. Does anyone know how or where the settings are for an individual song?

Overall, Plex is a great media manager and player for Videos and Pictures. While the Music component looks great, it is not really good at actually playing music in any other way except album-by-album or artist-by-artist. It’s difficult to play songs from various artists, albums, genres, etc. Here are some gripes:

  • Individual artists from multi-artist albums can’t have different genres. Only the album as a whole can have one genre.
  • Cannot import playlists.
  • Unable to read tag data from .wav files. I know metadata isn’t stored in .wav files, but other programs (MediaMonkey) have a way of incorporating the metadata or downloading from web sources. Now that I switched to Plex, I have to relabel all my .wav files.

Hi there! The ability to add songs to play queues is not available yet, but it’s on our roadmap. As for your other feedback I believe these are feature requests that have already been filed, but they’re more suited to server issues!
