When I have a song playing, then look through my music library and choose another one, the player just hangs up. I thought it was taking a long time to find the next song, but I waited a long time (over 30 mins) and nothing. I could exit the program and re-enter, and choose that other song, but only by restarting the program. Seems kind of clunky to have to do that - I’m sure that’s not what the developers intended.
Anyone else have this problem?
This in ONLY a problem with music - it seems to work fine with movies and TV shows.
Not sure what version of Plex server I have, but i just updated it to the latest this month (Nov2015) so it can’t be too old.
Not really sure how to troubleshoot - any ideas out there?

Sounds like the issue MS were telling us about at the last submission. Thankfully we think we’ve fixed it for the upcoming release (1.3). Sorry it’s causing you annoyance!
Not sure which release I have, but I just downloaded it (mid-November 2015). Not impressed so far, but am not sure how many of my problems are just due to my being unfamiliar with Plex Player for Xbox One. Can’t figure out how to do a search for an album or artist. Can’t figure out how to create a play list. Really can’t see why everyone’s so excited about Plex - I am finding the functionality really limited. Nothing better for Xbox One, however, so I have to make do…
@RRPELLET the functionality you are looking for is still in development. With plex pass you get early access to some apps while they are in development.
Dom has said the upcoming release will have filters, but not search. It will also have companion support so you could do a search on your mobile device and push it to the xbox. Not perfect, but it’s getting there and considering they could have said people can’t use it until it’s fully released it’s certainly better than nothing (considerably IMO). 
Have to admit, I am not just new to Plex Player for Xbox One, but Plex server too. Heck, I’m also new to Xbox One, for that matter.
As a music player, Plex Player on XB1 seems pretty primitive in its current form. Find an album, by scrolling through your entire collection, then play it. In my experience, if I start an album, and then select a second one to play afterwards, the music stops, the player hangs and I have to force restart the player on the Xbox to get anything to play again.
Can’t search for music either: I have over 1000 artists, over 3000 albums, over 30,000 songs. Having to use an Xbox controller joystick to scroll through all that is not exactly user-friendly.
However, I am not writing to complain, as I really like Plex. Just having a hard time using the Music, Music Libraries, Playlists, etc.
Downloaded TV and Movies works great.
The actual reason I wrote in the first place is because I assumed what I wanted to do was right in front of me and I needed someone to tell me how to find it.
