How to best handle compilations that don't display by Genre

Hi Everyone,

I’m new to Plex and have been reading up on this topic but still haven’t found a proper resolution. I have a number of compilations in my music library that are tagged with “Various Artists” for Album Artist. They are also categorized appropriately (Children’s Music, Soundtrack, etc.)

My problem is that when I try to filter by category, the Plex app for tvOS and iOS does not show them in the category. They’re just not there. I can however see all those albums when I go to the Music tab and scroll down to Various Artists. That said, they DO show up in the proper categories on the web client residing on my Synology NAS.

Is this a known bug and/or is there a suggested workaround?
