I’ve just set up my usb tuner with Tvheadend on Linux Ubuntu but I can’t find working solution to connect Tvheadend to Plex DVR. Can anyone help me? I need step by step guide. I’m new to linux.
You don’t connect PlexDVR to HeadEnd server.
If your USB Tuner is compatible/supported, Plex should allow you to configure the DVR and detect the tuner and use it. Plex and HeadEnd would likely not play well together with a single device, both would likely try to lock the other out.
There are some very old posts around here and the internet about unsupported plugins that would allow streaming from the HeadEnd server, but, Plex plugin api won’t record.
