How to customize track-playing-view?

Since I couldn’t find any answer (not even a slight trace) about my issue, I put it here:
When I play music, e.g. via my shield-pro box (but also on other environments) I see grotequely limited info about the currently playing track although I have tons of meta data in the tracks of my music library (see attached photo).
The display is limited in terms of:

  • info length that fits on the screen (due to huuuuuge fonts)
  • only a small subset of the meta data is shown - missing are, e.g: year, composer, comment, resolution (depth, frequency)
  • album cover far too huge (wastes space for other info)

Is there a possibility to alter this screen, in order to decrease font size, add more meta data tags etc. etc.?

but i just found out about the plexamp-app. will try it on the shield box…

There is no official version of Plexamp for Android TV.

to me, it looked as if the shield-box runs a (slightly limited) normal android … because i can run most apps that i also have on my samsung smartphone. but will check it and inform you.

i managed to install and run plexamp on the nvidia shield, but unfortunately it does not properly show a UI. may that will come some day…
