How to delete folders

I have a pretty simple setup, I think! Windows 7, Roku, TV. How can I delete folders that appear on my roku tv plex app channel, that don’t appear on my computer Plex program. I’ve looked all over and still haven’t found out. This should be elementary but is not. Here’s an example:I watched a couple of shows of the same series, didn’t like it, deleted it on my computer through the open plex that goes thru my Chrome. All gone on hard drive, Chrome Plex tab, but not on Roku, plex channel. Please make it stop!

I’m not entirely sure what you mean by ‘Folders’.

Here’s a screenshot that we’ll use for example purposes.

Are these folders matching the ones on your Roku Plex app? (names for example)

Yes, it looks like that. In tv shows I have a lot of shows, some I no longer have on my hard drives and don’t want to see when I open up plex on my roku because I have deleted these shows. The folders inside of tv shows is what I’m talking about. I have a folder on my hard drive for each tv show. They still appear even though I have deleted these folders within tv shows. Hope that helps.

I don’t know if this’ll work and it may not be a proper solution but it could sort it for you.

How To Delete A Channel From A Roku Player

I’m thinking if you remove the app, then re-add the app, it’ll clear the folders you see.

It’s a strange case because when I delete shows on my server, my devices registers these changes immediately, so it’s gotta be a Roku thing and I’m hoping the above sorts it.

Thanks, been there done that, did not work. Even factory reset the Roku. Didn’t work. It seems that I am the only person in the world with this problem. Guess I’m going to delete that tv shows folder and add it again, all 363 folders, all 3231 files, all 1.65 tb of data. Not like it’s hard, just a few mouse clicks, but extremely frustrating that there is not a solution to a seemingly simple problem as this.

I couldn’t agree more.

It seems to be a Roku thing.

No problem. Good luck and feel free to let me know if the folder vanishes on the Roku.
